Nimble Vineyards will be at Les Clos from 3pm-7pm pouring tastes of their new 2012 cabernet.
The 2012 vintage will go down on record as one of exceptional quality. Nearly perfect growing conditions, absent of any extreme weather episodes, allowed the grapes to hang long into the growing season enabling great development of intricate flavors and aromas with mature tannins.
The first vintage of “Nobis” Cabernet Sauvignon sets an extremely high standard for all future vintages! The color is nearly opaque at its core, with hues of garnet at the edge of the glass. There is no doubt about the expressiveness of this wine, yet there is a promise of more to be revealed. The nose is full black fruit and cassis complemented by shaved chocolate and tobacco leaf. The palate is lush and full, showing the more serious side of the wine. Herbal notes blend perfectly with earth tones and dark fruit. The tannins are round and supple, giving the wine great weight. The wine has impeccable balance, ensuring it will be a compliment to food and age gracefully. Enjoy the 2012 Nobis for the next 8-12 years.
Nimble Vineyards formerly known as Wallace Creek Vineyards will be launching its new website called nimblevineyards.com from next Tuesday 24th May.
